Gianna

I am beyond thrilled when families give me call-backs... and many of my clients do so!  My roots run deep, because I have spent years cultivating a trust -- a trust in my ability and creativity.  Meet Gianna, sister number 2 in this amazing family.  They travel a far distance from Western NY to vacation at Morningside Camps , nestled in the Adirondacks.  It is a gem of a spot, with meticulously maintained grounds and cabins, and many outdoor offerings.

Just like with Gianna's older sister, Madison, we spent a couple of hours chasing the sunlight.  Her quiet beauty radiated throughout the session .. with eyes so full of wit and drama.  I am excited to reveal this collection!  Gianna, may you blaze trails wherever life leads you.  Enjoy your upcoming senior year!

I sourced this tiny arrangement within the tall grasses... I love flowers that are wild and free!  The wind swirled with a carefreeness -- just like Gianna's spirit.

Seriously, these eyes!

Inner ear piercing deserved a quick snapshot.

So. Much. Yes!

Earthy and natural.  And how about that halo lighting (the sun highlighting from behind).  Every outfit went so incredibly well with the spaces in which we documented.

Her sister utilized the boogie board; Gianna opted for the rowboat.  I love it!

The sunlight was pretty magical in this moment... literally creating a spotlight on her face for less than 2 minutes (relying on natural light has its many perks... you just have to work quickly to capture it before it disappears).  An added bonus that there were ferns to utilize!

Windswept hair 😍

A stolen moment while I was dialing in my settings.

These last 2 images, though!  Gianna, you absolutely rocked your session -- thank you for allowing me to be part of it 💕

The End
