Ayla Makes 3
I realize blogging has fallen by the wayside, with content needing to captivate you literally within seconds on social media, and not taking up more than one minute of your life in total -- if it has even piqued your interest to begin with. But it still remains my little corner of the internet where I can share my images and thoughts, so I continue. For anyone who can spare a few minutes to look over an entry of mine, I promise you it might be worth it! Perhaps these images would resonate with you, and you would invite me into your life to illustrate a similar story.
You should recognize this family from previous posts. Our photographic journey spans several, several years! I have documented so many huge milestones for this family, that I am literally just an extension by now. We hung out for hours as I was introduced to the latest addition, Ayla. A new little smoosh for everyone to love on. Two big brothers that will undoubtedly protect her throughout her life. Two parents who have golden hearts, and enough love (and then some) for all three! I just clicked away while enjoying everyone's company.
As Paul noticed on Ayla's onesie (when you can only read one half of it), she is the Lit Sis ;) "Lit" in street terms is like saying "really good, fun, exciting." So I'll leave it like that. Ayla is the Really Good/Fun/Exciting Sis(ter) everyone had been waiting for!
xoxo

Yes, I see you Levi, even when you think I might not lol.

Ezra's lovey. They have a spare to swap in when it needs a visit to the washing machine. (My own daughter has a lovey, so my heart can relate to these images).

The placement of Levi is hysterical, but I didn't even notice him peeking in that moment. It wasn't until I was culling images on my computer that I saw him there.

I taught the boys iterations of a 'fist bump' that I learned from my daughter, that she learned from the Trolls movie. Here, Levi pulled the "turkey" on Ezra lol! If you are not familiar with the movie, check out the scene here.

Levi was having a moment. But the promise of chocolate in the coming images was going to make it all better.

Chocolate milk and a chocolate bar. Happiness restored!

"Little Sister" or "Lit Sis" ... you decide.

Third time's a charm! A look back at similar poses with first born, Levi, and now middle child, Ezra.

Who says a rocking/vibrating chair is only for babies? Ezra doesn't think so!

Lunch time! I was told that Ez gets excited to have a hot dog, but that he never actually eats the hot dog (as witnessed in the images below). Conversely, Levi likes to eat the hot dog, but not the actual bun.

Proudest of all big brothers!

Full House = Full Heart. Lauren is one lucky Mama!

Okay, so I'm jealous of Lauren's clover tongue trick. Tongue curling is genetic, so Ezra might have that skill and just not know it yet!
