Mackenzie & Mason :: I Do 

This wedding was a referral from a former client (thank you, Kelley)!  Mason's Mom, Tina, contacted me seeking information about my services.  A 2-hour long phone call sealed the deal -- it was an easy conversation from start to finish!  I had an amazing feeling that I was going to be a good fit for these two young loves!  And the feelings seemed mutual on Tina's end.   

The wedding planning was done between Tina & Mackenzie, as Mason is enlisted in the Marines, and was not local until just days prior to his wedding.  But to back the story up, they had an original wedding date of July 5th.  But as that date neared, it was clear Mason was not going to be getting the leave the family had originally believed.  You can imagine the disappointment and stress this put on Mason & Mackenzie, and their families, as they watched July 5th come and go.  They made the decision to move the date to September, with the notion that Mason would be granted leave.  (This all reminded me of Covid 2020 -- watching brides & grooms snap into action, postponing or altering wedding plans).  If good things fall apart so better things can fall together, I'd say Mackenzie & Mason had a perfect September day! 

This is an abridged blog, which focuses primarily on Mason & Mackenzie and many of the little details.  Because I am a sucker for details!  I will be including family and friends in the coming weeks, to tell a complete story of love and celebration, so stay tuned.
