A Morning Fam-Jam
This is truly a darling family, and one that was a referral from a past client (thank you, Jane). This family braved a pretty hot and humid morning, and they did so with such grace. These kiddos are simply wonderful... but I'll let the imagery speak for itself.
Thank you Danielle and James for inviting me into your home, and allowing me a glimpse into your lives. What a wonderful family you have created 💕

Meet Arlen, the youngest of the clan. If birth order has any say in the matter, he will grow to be the free spirit. His eyes, though... so all-knowing!

It's the spaces between "all the pretty poses" that are my favorite! Daddy and Arlen are having their own happy moment.

Happy little fella!

Being silly in front of the lens, because what kid doesn't want to have fun while having photos taken, amirite?

Mama warned me this is Gunnar's go-to pose... "the roar." It needed preserving, because it's just who he is right now in his life.

Evie... the girl with so many expressions!

This little smoosh has such a captivating "old soul" vibe! That twinkle in his eyes, though!

Love!

Catching Gunnar not roaring required real play and movement; I was so down for that challenge!

Yes!

Arlen looks a bit worried about his big brother's display of affection. Evie laughing tops it all off!

'The Littlest Nugget' 💕

So. Much. Yes.

Jumping off a fallen tree into Daddy's arms is better than any jungle gym!

The two elders holding hands. Be still, my heart! (May they always have a wonderful friendship). And let's not forget about Arlen's perfect bare-grass pose!

This expression cracks me up! A static pose just isn't his thing, so the "serious squint" is what I get lol!

Laughter and smiles for days... the real Gunnar.

Sweet Evie

This moment! A first-born son and his Mama 💕

These are some impressive Daddy tosses (all children were safely caught from their momentary flight 😉)

Beautiful

There's that lil' squint again lol!

This is the moment where the heat and the length of the session started to set in. I have no doubt these kids enjoyed a day in the water after I left. Evie tells the story in this one.

Love! A simple gesture of Mama's hand on child's back, yet so powerful.

This is where a child's "can I be done" sadness and a mother's love and understanding collide 💕

I always like to give a Mom & Dad their moment (sans kids). And anyone familiar with my work knows that I love love!

This dirt pile was the anticipated attraction! The reward of having me follow them around with a camera for an hour+ ended with a bit of dirt between the toes (or a straight-up lounging in it).

Thank you so much for inviting me over to play, beautiful family!
