Baby Keegan

Oh. My. Word!  Keegan is just pure, itty-bitty goodness!  His name means "fiery" in Irish, and he certainly embodied all of that during his debut photo session.   Sleeping with one eye open (so as not to miss anything), with a furrowed brow (at the sound of a stranger's voice -- me), as my camera clicked away.  I brought my "baby whispering" skills, and he lulled in no time.  From nursery details, to close-ups, to photojournalism, this collection really tells the sweetest little story!

Congratulations Caitlin & Brian -- you are both so lucky to be able to share your love with this amazing little fella!

The foot & toes through the crib rail 😍

And more through the rails 💕

Getting acquainted with Peter Rabbit.  A gift from a grandfather.

All of his fingers gripped so tightly, and fit ever-so perfectly, around Daddy's pointer.  Swoon!

Well, hello there!  A special handmade blanket from friends of the grandparents.  These are such meaningful details that I love documenting!

As a child, this nightlight was painted and gifted to Caitlin from her Grandpa.  Somewhere down the line, the nightlight had shattered.  Caitlin had grown older and forgotten about it.  A family member restored it (glue) and gifted it to her as a baby shower gift.  Tears (the fond memory kind) flooded everyone at the party.  Though the grandfather has passed on, the nightlight has found its way to the next generation -- Keegan.

I love close ups!!  Wrinkly, peely toes.  Ear lobes.  Lip lines.  Knuckles and fingers.  Hair swirls.  All of these details must be preserved -- because these features change ever so quickly!

His arrival is a beautiful gift just in time for the holidays!

Another special gift -- his very own selection of ornaments to enjoy as he grows up.

Merry Everything!
The End
