Ben & Mikayla

This couple!  Thank goodness for my ability to get into an easy conversation with practically anyone.... and I mean that!  I am an affable extrovert.  I met Ben at the bank that I, well, bank at lol!  He noticed my business name within my account, and he asked what type of photography I provided.  I mentioned the different genres that I dabble in, and it just so happened that he was newly engaged.  You can connect the dots from there.  They came to my house for a consultation, and we cracked a BBCO beer in celebration of their booking me for 2020!  (Did I forget to mention that my husband and I are quite the beer snobs 😉)?

This engagement session is swoon-worthy!  Canoodles galore.  Tangible and intimate moments... all captured while chasing that darn sun!  Which is my favorite thing to do during my sessions, in case you needed to know.  We started at Yaddo Gardens and ended at Kayak Shak (which is situated right next to Harvest & Hearth on Fish Creek).

I simply cannot wait until their Fall 2020 wedding at The Inn at Saratoga!  Enjoy these images... you both make love look so effortless! xoxo

I prefer shooting through the iconic trellis doors that open up into the gardens.  I love this moment with Maikayla playing with Ben's facial hair.... it's so thick it really does need its own zip code 😉
