Sisters

These girls are another set of siblings that I have been documenting since infancy.  As my eye and style have developed, this Mama has stayed on this photographic journey with me!  She's another one of my "regulars" who just lets me "do my thing."  She trusts that the images will tell an authentic story -- which is what I have been striving to create for clients, especially in these past few years.

Another one of those hot summer days!  What kid wouldn't love to start their day off having some mid-morning ice cream?!  Throw in some playground time and some leaf gathering, and you've got a pretty spectacular morning (in the eyes of a 4 and 8 year old)!

This was some really cool bark that coupled as a pretty neat mask!

This moment almost wasn't captured.  Almost.  It has a reddish, ethereal feel because Sylvia crossed in front of my lens as I depressed the shutter.  It was extremely over-exposed, but with some post-editing, was able to discover that Cora was looking back at me through a feather.

Is this not a perfect illustration of "stopping to smell the flowers?"  Moments like these surround us every day!  Which ones are you able to experience?

Cora chased this Swallowtail butterfly for a small window of time.  I was lucky enough to capture a fleeting moment of her (leaf-filled) hand reaching out to it on a Coneflower.
