Sometimes people just "go together," like pb & j, mac & cheese, peas & carrots... you get the idea!  This is that couple!  They are definitely intertwined, these two lovers!  And quite in sync, right down to their smiles, laughters and stares.

I am very much looking forward to sharing my wedding anniversary with these two next year!  Yup, you heard that right!  I will be celebrating 17 years (sans husband) while they will be taking their vows.  She was a bridesmaid of a wedding that I had documented 5 years ago, and she had never forgotten my photographic style or my enthusiasm when behind the camera!  Excited to have this opportunity (I will also be able to reconnect with many past brides & grooms, as they've made the guest list)!!

We started out the session at the Saratoga National Historical Park, namely the Neilson House.  Fun little fact:  Kyleigh is a direct descendant of the Neilson's who resided their during the Revolutionary War.  Her great-grandmother was born in that home, and the family moved off the battlefield when it was overtaken as a historical landmark.  The evening proceeded with me taking direction from the near cloudless sky.  As all of my clients are well aware, I chase the light (and the light speaks to me)!

I'm very much looking forward to Kyleigh & Jamie's wedding next June!  Until then, enjoy!

Getting all romantic on the porch of a little red home that existed during the Revolutionary War!

I have come to realize this endearing little (secret) gesture from Jamie to Kyleigh -- a sweet little kiss on the nose.  Very much unscripted.

I see an image before I make it.  In these next 3 images, there was a an overhang of yellow leaves surrounding this green space.  I knew those glorious golden leaves being illuminated by the sun would make a great frame to the entire image.

This was a tricky image that ended up being super successful!  Sun was still pretty high in the sky!  There were several "takes" of them walking hand-in-hand, while I was walking alongside them at a diagonal.  Glad to have captured this moment.

I bring the jokes...

no, seriously!

I never reveal my jokes in a blog, though!  ;)

Love the moment on the left!

And there's that sweet little nose kiss again!

The End
